Crossover Christmas

Description
These Crossover Christmas concerts have become almost a tradition since 2017. Established artists share the stage with ambitious project musicians; you’ll hear cheerful and festive tunes, experience soulful and reflective moments. The audience can expect an enchanting musical gift, performed by top-notch musicians and artistically refined: soprano Anush Mkrtychan brings a solemn dignity with her festive songs, while David Thomas, Judith Hoogeveen (Adarkwah), and Katharina Stahl fill the stage with pure gospel energy as well as charismatic soul and jazz. Arias by Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Vivaldi meet Bryan Adams, Sarah Connor, Samuel Ljungblad, pure a cappella passages, and a surprise song with real hit potential—carrying the Christmas promise of hope and peace.
Bestselling author Leah Weigand also joins the event, enchanting not only the President’s Christmas concerts and playing masterfully on the keyboard of words. Alongside soloists, the crossover band, as well as vocal, string, and brass ensembles, she helps make this pre-Christmas evening shine. The diverse concert evening under the direction of Juliane Dreisbach is guided by Bernd Gudernatsch, who as a moderator easily and humorously weaves the thread. An evening that celebrates life and faith, touches hearts, and gets you in the Christmas spirit.
