Gecko, Snake, Frog and Co

Description
"Snake, lizard, frog and co"
An adventure tour for the whole family - Sunday, October 4, 11 a.m.
The Zoo School Landau offers a very special insight into the world of reptiles and amphibians on Sunday, October 4, from 11 a.m. to about 1 p.m. The zoo educators will take parents, grandparents, and children 6 years and older on an adventure walk through the zoo, introducing snakes, caimans, turtles, and other animals. Questions such as "Are all snakes dangerous?" "Can I keep a turtle in my own garden?" and "What are caimans fed at Zoo Landau?" will also be addressed. Special teaching aids, such as a turtle shell or snake skin, make the exciting information tangible even for children. Participants can find out right at the start in the zoo school what distinguishes reptiles from amphibians and meet the terrarium animals of the zoo school. The direct encounter with one of these animals is the special highlight of this eventful morning.
Registration for the family tour is mandatory and can be made now from Monday to Thursday between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. at the zoo administration by calling 06341-137011.
Registration deadline is September 24.
Meeting point for the family tour is at 10:45 a.m. at the zoo ticket office.
Event price: 20 euros (up to 5 people, each additional adult 5 euros, each additional child 2.50 euros; this amount must be paid IN CASH ONLY) plus zoo entrance fee.
The zoo reserves the right to cancel or shorten events, for example due to weather conditions.
