Keschdefeschd

Description
At the Keschdefeschd from October 3 to 4, 2026, in Annweiler am Trifels, numerous stands offer dishes and products made from or with the chestnut. There are sweet and savory variations, for example chestnut cream, chestnut liqueur, chestnut honey, chestnut sausage, chestnut chutney, chestnut dumplings, and chestnut bread. In addition, regional and seasonal market products such as game products, French cheese, sheep products, and decorations are offered.
The market stands are open on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. On both days, there is musical entertainment in the afternoon. Children can go on a treasure hunt with the chestnut in the festival area. Those who successfully complete the rally receive a small surprise.
On Saturday at 11 a.m., the coronation of the 22nd Chestnut Princess takes place in front of the town hall. The current Chestnut Princess Felicia I. formally passes on the crown to her successor. All visitors are warmly invited to attend the coronation.
The Keschdefeschd is classified as a "Festival for All."
