Description

Presented by: Rock Antenne, EMP, Metal Hammer, Metal.de, Hard Rock Cafe, Die Arche & Viva Con Agua HEAVYSAURUS are a true phenomenon – with celebrated appearances in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, shows on the country’s biggest festival stages and an incredible No. 9 in the charts. In 2027 the country’s biggest family rock band will embark on their next adventure: with the new album “Mission Dino Power” (release: February 5, 2027) HEAVYSAURUS will launch the accompanying MISSION DINO POWER TOUR 2027. The four dinosaurs and the dragon become the mightiest rock super-hero gang in the world – with a brand-new live show, many new songs and plenty of new adventures and stories!

Music for kids, but not kiddie music HEAVYSAURUS make music for children, but not children’s music in the classical sense. Everything here is authentic: real musicians, real instruments and a real live performance with original songs full of powerful riffs, big choruses and classic rock and metal elements. The MISSION DINO POWER TOUR 2027 also offers a professionally produced rock show with everything that belongs to it – child-friendly and full of participatory fun, but completely serious. Children experience their perhaps first big concert moment, while parents celebrate or rediscover their own love of music – until in the end everyone raises the devil horns together. Because at HEAVYSAURUS generations celebrate together, whether four, fourteen or forty-four. Five heroes. Five superpowers. One mission.

In the world of “Mission Dino Power” all band members discover their superpowers. They arise from what HEAVYSAURUS has always stood for: music, friendship, courage and solidarity. Milli Pilli (Centrosaurus, keyboards) unleashes the magic power of her keys. Komppi Momppi (Apatosaurus, drums) delivers the beat that drives everyone. Muffi Puffi (Stegosaurus, bass) with his groove gets even the biggest dino headbanging. Riffi Raffi (dragon, guitar) masters the mightiest guitar riffs in the universe. And Mr. Heavysaurus (T. Rex, vocals) holds the whole crew together with his charisma and the power of the "pommesgabel". They invite children to discover their own talents and strengths – without wagging a finger, but always child-appropriate, with imagination, humor and plenty of rock ’n’ roll.

From the nursery to the biggest festival stages

What originally came from a simple question – how can children be introduced playfully yet musically seriously to rock and metal and generally the experience of “live music”? – has within a few years developed into a cross-generational cult. The dino universe is also growing rapidly online: from 2024 more than 250,000 new social media followers were added, while the band’s videos amassed over 100 million views. Under the banner #TeamPommesgabel a huge community has long since formed where little and big rock fans exchange with each other.

Social commitment and dino metal

With the new tour the band continues its social commitment and further supports “Die Arche,” an organization that helps disadvantaged children and families. One euro from every ticket sold goes to the good cause: 50 cents as a direct donation and a further 50 cents to support special activities such as concert visits, excursions and shared experiences. Because music should be shared. And every child should have the opportunity to experience what real live music feels like: loud, colorful, exciting, emotional and connecting.

For the parents:

The concert experience is primarily aimed at children of about three to eleven years, but also delights parents, grandparents and siblings. The shows take place at family-friendly times and at a volume adjusted for children’s ears. Because little rockers react differently, it is nevertheless advisable to have hearing protection ready. Wherever local conditions allow, there is a kids’ area in front of the stage with particularly good sightlines for the little fans.

Limited meet-&-greet tickets also make a personal meeting with the dinos possible – including photo, autograph, a real paw shake and all the curious questions little dino metalheads can think of. +++++++++++++++++
