Free film screenings under the motto "We are on fire for Eltville"

For film fans, a special offer will start in late summer in Eltville: Supported by the state’s downtown participation program "Ab in die Mitte," the city, in cooperation with the Philipp-Kraft-Foundation, offers a film series under the motto "We are on fire for Eltville." A selection of films related to the theme "burning for something" will be shown.

The series opens with the new adaptation of the classic film "Fahrenheit 451." This dystopian social film will be shown on Wednesday, August 26, at the Eltville Media Library at Platz der Deutschen Einheit. The film starts at 7:30 p.m. On Wednesday, September 16, the series moves to the Eltville Fire Station: In cooperation with the youth fire department, the thrilling fire brigade documentary "Feuer und Flamme" will be shown at 6:30 p.m. at the Eltville fire station (Erbacher Straße 11, 65343 Eltville).

The comedy "Tel Aviv on Fire" is on the program Wednesday, September 30, at 7:30 p.m. in the Eltville Media Library. Also widely acclaimed is the French social and historical film "Portrait d’une jeune femme en flammes," which will captivate audiences on Wednesday, October 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Media Library.

There is a special offer for children on Saturday, September 12: "Fireman Sam" (Season 13) will be screened at 3 p.m. in the Media Library.
