Description

"Nachtgedanken" is a reading concert as part of the Kreiskulturtage Trier-Saarburg featuring songs by Edith Piaf, Gilbert Bécaud, Hildegard Knef, and Marlene Dietrich. For two decades, singer and actress Patricia Prawit portrayed Dietrich in a glamorous gala show. In her new reading concert, including melodies by Friedrich Holländer, Edith Piaf, Gilbert Bécaud, Hildegard Knef, and Burt Bacharach, she approaches the immortal myth of Marlene from a different angle. An entertaining mix of anecdotes, images, and music offers spectators insight into lesser-known facets of the extraordinary artist. Look forward to the special atmosphere in the new Meulenwaldhaus, where the glass windows offer views of the mystically illuminated autumn forest. Patricia Prawit gives the audience wonderful insights through recital, reading, concert, and picture presentation. About the artist: Already with her high school diploma, Patricia Prawit, born in 1961, laid the decisive foundations for her show business career – alongside musical training, dance and acting were part of her daily routine. After numerous CD projects and live successes with bands, she launched her regional career as a musical singer in "Starlight Express" (Bochum), "Hair" (Ulm), "Into The Woods" (Hamburg), and "Love und Confusion" (Bonn). A first highlight of her career was as lead singer in major evening revues ("Cinema," "Joker," "Jingle Bells") at the renowned Friedrichstadtpalast in Berlin. This was followed by numerous TV appearances, singing and hosting at live galas with show orchestras, and a Las Vegas-produced show with worldwide performances. In 2000, Patricia Prawit celebrated remarkable success with her then glamorous Marlene Dietrich gala. This event takes place as part of the Kreiskulturtage Trier-Saarburg.

The event is held in cooperation with the Trier Forestry Office.
