Station theater "Christmas at the Hütte"

Description
Sayner Hütte presents a new Christmas tour of a special kind: an hour full of history, warmth and family memories centered on the Sayner Hütte.
During the scenic tour, Charlotte Althans, the wife of the "Chief Ironworks Construction Inspector" Carl Ludwig Althans, takes on the role of storyteller and invites a personal encounter with tradition and work in historic rooms. In the course of this, Charlotte Althans chats about Christmas customs and family traditions as they were lived at the Hütte. She offers insights into the work and activities of her husband, Carl Ludwig, and describes his influence on community life and the working world in the Prussian ironworks. Between Christmas cookies, punch and confidential anecdotes, Charlotte recalls how children and workers experienced the Christmas season, which rituals were observed and what life at the Hütte looked like back then.
The entertaining tour offers a sensory mix of historical facts, personal
stories and authentic everyday moments. Visitors can expect an
atmospheric event in a historic setting that brings the past to life
– ideal for families, culture lovers and anyone who would like to experience the Sayner Hütte in a new
perspective.
Relax with a glass of Christmas or „Elfen-Punsch“ and enjoy the Sayner Hütte in a cozy atmosphere. Charlotte Althans looks forward to welcoming you as a guest and promises a memorable journey to the 19th century.
