Steinbacher Perchtenraunacht mit Großfeuerwerk

The Steinbacher Perchtenraunacht is a traditional customs night around Advent and Christmas – ideal if you come with children 👨👩.

At the evening event Perchten appear, who in an old ritual drive out evil spirits and brush the audience with horse tails, which is supposed to bring luck and health.

• Perchtenlauf with traditional figures.
• Warm-up to kick things off.
• Perchten party in the festival tent with dancing.
• Impressive large fireworks display.
• Free admission.

Tip: The historic Steyrtal Museumsbahn makes the journey exciting for children. The atmosphere is deliberately described as 'hellish' – at the end there is dancing at the Perchten party.
