The Brave Little Tailor

Theater fairy tale about the power of wit and intelligence and believing in yourself, based on the Brothers Grimm

Director: Margret Fehrer

Stage design: Axel Gallun

With Christiane Burkard, Daniel Wangler, Margarita Wiesner

theater mimikri

Alarm! A hero is needed – the king’s garden is in danger. When tailor Felix appears proudly wearing a belt that says "7 at one blow," rescue seems near. No one knows that he actually meant only seven flies. Now the clever tailor must prove himself a great hero.

With wit, courage and amazing tailoring tricks, Felix faces singing giants, a mysterious unicorn, and a furious wild boar. But the greatest challenge awaits in the castle: the smart princess Sofia, who has little regard for heroes. Fortunately, Marte, the mysterious shell seller, stands by his side – asking the crucial questions at the right moment.

With live music, masks, imaginative costumes, poetic images, and a fine composition of light, sound and movement, theater mimikri creates a gripping theatrical world – sensitive, humorous, and full of magic.

Excitement, empathy and pure laughter guaranteed – for children and adults alike.
