Description

Freely based on the Brothers Grimm.

A fairy tale under the stars. Four brave adventurers from the land without moonlight set out in search of a wondrous thing to finally brighten the night sky. Only by joining their forces, using magical objects, and with the help of a talking piglet, can they brave all dangers. Along the way, they must cross dark forests full of peril, outsmart ancient gnomes, and solve the trickiest riddles. But with courage, luck, and above all your help, dear children, they manage to find the moon. Yet they don’t realize the terrible consequences if the moon does not hang in the sky, but instead its light shines down to the earth... Are you, dear children, brave enough to accompany our adventurers on their dangerous journey? Because only if you always help out will the fairy tale have a happy ending. And maybe, as thanks, there will be a kiss from the beautiful princess. Or a chest full of silver. Entertainment and playful learning This delightfully eerie fairy tale, freely based on the Brothers Grimm, answers in a child-friendly way the question of how the moon might have come to be. Children also learn why the moon sometimes appears perfectly round – and at other times as thin as a fingernail (moon phases). "The Moon" takes children on a journey into an imaginative world that they can fully immerse themselves in thanks to 360° projections. The heroes repeatedly ask the children for help solving problems, so they can feel part of the adventure. And the brave children are remembered even when the king provides a reward. Beyond the main story, the fairy tale offers many small details and side stories to discover in all directions within the dome (almost like a hidden object book). The story is told in a highly detailed paper-cut silhouette style reminiscent of old fairy tale books. This abstraction helps ensure that despite the panoramic view, the fairy tale isn’t too intense for younger viewers, allowing them to keep some distance from the action.
