Wintertime Trier

What do mulled wine, walks, and anecdotes have in common? When used properly, they all warm you up from the inside. That’s why our new "Wintertime Tour" combines all three. And they’re put to good use: This cozy stroll leads you in true walking style from the Porta to Stockplatz, then on past Frankenturm to Palaststraße, concluding with a steaming cup of winemaker's mulled wine at Palais Kesselstatt. Heartwarming stories from old and new Trier, winter and year-round alike, line the route, which deliberately takes you through some parts of the city not usually covered in classic tours. So it’s perfect both for visitors and lifelong Trier locals. A little cozy winter warmth and mulled wine feeling is good for all of us.

The ticket includes a cup of steaming winemaker’s mulled wine or an equally steaming, non-alcoholic fruit punch.
