The Astropeiler Stockert is Germany's first fully movable radio telescope, built in 1956 and now equipped with modern technology to enable a wide range of scientific observations.
School classes of various age groups can attend exciting hands-on workshops to experience radio astronomy firsthand.
During guided tours, you will gain fascinating insights into radio astronomy and watch live as data is received from the sky.
The observatory is run by dedicated volunteers who conduct workshops and accompany visitors.
Additionally, the station supports university education and supervises theses in physics and astrophysics.
