Bauernhausmuseum Lindberg
Description
The Bauernhausmuseum Lindberg offers you a vivid journey into the life and work of past centuries in the Bavarian Forest.
You can watch traditional cooking in one of the few preserved Ruaßkuchln kitchens and discover historic household items like an old loom or a Potschamperl doll in faithfully recreated rooms of a typical 16th-century farmhouse.
The museum also houses a historic wooden chapel from 1885 with its characteristic wooden shingles and almost mystical memorial plaques – creating a truly special atmosphere. 🌲
Since 1975, the adjacent building has been home to the museum inn Bärenhöhle, where you can enjoy regional delicacies, homemade cakes, and freshly tapped beer in the beer garden or cozy parlor.
During your visit, you can often meet locals from the Waidler region and, with some luck, even experience their music live – making history come alive and tangible.
