Description

At the Bayerisches Schulmuseum, you can take an exciting journey through the history of education in Bavaria since the 19th century. The museum is housed in a baroque palace that offers an authentic atmosphere, as the building itself served as a school in 1860.

Discover interactive stations where you can learn something new or refresh your knowledge. Starting May 20, the new section “Tora & Tablet” shows the history of Jewish education in Bavaria from the Middle Ages to today, with models, historic photos, interviews, and more interactive exhibits 🎓.

Modern workshop rooms provide many opportunities for group activities and creative projects for all ages from 5 years and up.

For families and school groups, guided tours are also available: a historical tour lasts about an hour, while an extended tour including a workshop takes around two hours – a great way to discover history together.
