Description
BergTierPark Blindham is located right on the county border near Feldkirchen-Westerham.
You can see a variety of wild, farm, and domestic animals such as sheep and goats, pigs, deer, and ponies. The park also offers fun and entertainment for the whole family with a petting zoo, guided tours, a nature trail through a raised bog, birds of prey shows, and pony rides. Even on bad weather days, there’s plenty of fun to be had: a converted barn offers 2,000 sqm of play space for children. Toddlers can play in huge indoor sandboxes, ride on toy cars, and climb on small climbing castles. Lounge chairs and terrace windows invite parents to relax. Older children can climb high: meter-long suspension bridges, swings, wobbly bridges, giant slides, and a large ball pit are reachable on different levels by stairs, ramps, and corridors.
Another highlight is the large adventure playground featuring a bungee trampoline, Tarzan swing, hell slide, inflatable air cushion castle, zip line, and climbing ball.
To recharge after all these activities, the lovely park café offers a wide selection of food and drinks.
Opening hours
Open daily! During summer: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (winter: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Ticket sales close two hours earlier. Summer and winter times correspond to the clock changes (end of October / end of March).
Celebrate a child’s birthday
Fun for the kids and relaxation for the parents – birthday parties at BergTierPark Blindham
Kids love to celebrate their birthdays with their best friends, enjoying happy, carefree hours. BergTierPark Blindham is the ideal place for such special occasions. Here, as a parent, you can offer your children everything that makes them happy: plenty of space to run around on a large playground with climbing, swinging, sliding, jumping, and gym equipment. The petting zoo gives close contact with tame goats, sheep, and lambs. You are welcome to picnic on the meadow or grill in the forest.
A children’s birthday could hardly be more relaxing for you as a parent: you don’t have to organize an elaborate program because everything the kids enjoy is already there. Boredom is definitely not an issue at BergTierPark. You can bring your own food, grill supplies, and drinks. You can rent a wagon to “transport” things around the park. No registration or reservation is needed.
Our tip:
The play barn is only lightly heated and must be entered wearing socks or slippers. Slippers are better than socks, even for adults! In winter, wearing a jacket is also recommended.
Eating and drinking inside the play barn is not allowed. There is a covered snack area for that. When the weather is nice, the picnic spots along the nature trail (including a grill station for self-grilling) and near the playground are even nicer.
