“Das Kubatzki” in the Bad district offers 36 rooms and suites and nestles into a spacious pine garden that borders directly on a nature reserve. The private hotel is run by the couple Dörte and Marco Kubatzki, who gave up their former lives as Frankfurt bankers to fulfill their dream of running a seaside hotel.

The hotel’s timeless interior emphasizes the relaxed and family atmosphere. The owners furnished the rooms with a harmonious mix of laid-back Scandinavian design, antique single pieces, and modern furniture. Bright, refreshing white dominates all rooms, with gray and black highlights as accents.

The charming open-plan kitchen with fireplace and wood terrace is the heart of the house, serving as the lobby, restaurant, and bar. Additional warmth and coziness come from the natural-colored oak wood floor throughout the house. For sauna sessions, fitness, and beauty treatments, a 120-square-meter wellness area is available.
