Description

The Deutsches Museum of Masterpieces of Natural Science and Technology in Munich is one of the largest science and technology museums in the world by exhibition space. As a public-law institution, it operates besides its main building on Munich's Museum Island four branches in Bonn, Munich (Transportation Center), Nuremberg, and Oberschleißheim. Its stated goal is to bring scientific and technical knowledge to interested laypeople in an engaging and understandable way. To do this, it showcases the historical development of natural sciences and technology, as well as their impact on technological and social progress through selected examples.
