Elstermühle Plessa is a historic watermill set among meadows, forests, and the Schwarze Elster 🌿 – a special place offering space for relaxation, focused work, and cultural encounters.

The grounds are ideal for writing, studying, and creative projects, featuring cozy single rooms, inspiring workspaces with views, a library, and a mill museum. Guests can also experience Buddhist mindfulness through walks and talks on spiritual topics.

Families will find a private retreat here with plenty of space to relax, read, explore nature, and play outdoors. In addition to free-roaming chickens, Bobtail Quentin provides animal companionship.

Elstermühle is an exceptional venue for seminars and workshops, especially for writing groups, small music and theater ensembles, yoga retreats, or family events with up to 30 guests. The crackling fireplace room invites you to readings, lectures, and cozy gatherings.

The historic mill building houses a museum with tours available on request, and the adjacent sawmill showcases valuable 19th-century machinery. Plus, a riding hall, open stable, and pasture areas are available for rent – perfect for special occasions and nature-connected experiences.
