Energie Erlebnispark Zangtal

Description
Energie Erlebnispark Zangtal is an open park where art, mining history and nature come together – ideal for a family outing. On the Kunststraße, international and regional works link the mining past with energy themes and invite children to marvel.
On the two circular trails you can walk, run, or set off on playful discoveries with children. Small footpaths lead to hidden spots, and freely placed trampolines provide space for romping and testing strength.
On your walk you will find, among other things:
Sculptures made from mining residues – for example the Zangtal-Drache 'Ernst', welded from leftover steel.
Historic mining machines that give children a fascinatingly close look at large equipment.
Walk-in showcase with models of energy generation – illustrative and for exploring on guided tours.
Permaculture mound (300 m²) with 120 plant species – a living garden to explore.
Visually striking photovoltaic system Smartflower™ POP that follows the sun with two-axis tracking ⚡
