Eremitage
Description
The Eremitage (dating from 1715) offers you varied outdoor spaces: Baroque garden, landscape park and enchanting woodland areas.
Water and fountains are at the center: extensive water surfaces, playful fountains and the decorative Innere Grotte with glass slag and shells – water sprays from over 200 nozzles and stimulates the children’s senses. 🌊
For exploring you'll find: the one-hectare Heckenlabyrinth, the Römisches Theater as an open-air stage, the Sonnentempel with a gilded quadriga and the pool of the Obere Grotte with 56 Fontänen, which directs the view to the Sonnentempel. The Parnass (1718) with statues of Apollo and the nine Muses makes art and myths visible to children.
