Description

Greifvogelstation & Wildfreigehege Hellenthal offers an impressive nature experience in the Eifel. Known for its birds of prey shows, the facility features majestic birds like the Andean condor, which amazes with its enormous wingspan. Established in 1967, the station has become one of the largest of its kind in Central Europe and is deeply committed to nature and species conservation. About 600 animals live across 64 hectares, including red deer, fallow deer, and various predators. Visitors can get up close to some animals in special contact enclosures. In addition to the animals, the grounds also include playgrounds and dining options such as the restaurant “Zum Adler.” A special highlight is the ride on the "Adlerexpress," offering a panoramic view of the entire park. Picnic areas are also available to complete your visit.
