Description

The Heimathaus „Beim Glaser“ is a lovingly restored building over 200 years old that showcases the life of a craftsman-farmer in the late 19th century. It combines the worlds of farming and craftsmanship under one roof.

On about 500 square meters of exhibition space, you will find an exciting look into daily life with agriculture, a stable, a barn, and a fully equipped glassmaker’s workshop from that era – all in one house.

The museum also offers detailed insights into historical agricultural practices, mining and forestry work, and the once-important transport system known as „Rott-Fuhrwesen“. A special highlight is the upstairs exhibition, which presents the historical and cultural development of Nesselwang through texts, images, and objects from its origins to today.
