Description
Heinz-Erhardt-Park is a small grove in the Hamburg district of Wellingsbüttel. On the occasion of the 100th birthday and in honor of the German poet, entertainer, musician, and actor Heinz Erhardt, who passed away in 1979, the small forest area on Pfeilshofer Weg was named after him. The district assembly's decision and the subsequent announcement by the Wandsbek district office took place in 2009, followed by the renaming and the commemorative ceremony in the festival hall of the nearby senior home at Rabenhorst a year later in 2010. Heinz Erhardt lived with his family near the green area for over three decades until his death.
