The Industriemuseum Lauf offers you a family-friendly experience with diverse educational programs and guided tours for all ages.
More than 20 interactive stations invite you to explore technical concepts through play. In the summer, you can enjoy the museum garden with water playground and a cozy café area.
A highlight is the Laufer Steam Model Days featuring live demonstrations of historic steam engines and exciting shows with the 23-ton steam locomotive, one of the 100 Bavarian cultural monuments.
The Steampunk group Steamworic delights with imaginative devices and hands-on activities that spark creativity. There is also an interactive 360° virtual tour with challenging quizzes as well as digital multimedia guides via the Actionbound app offering three exciting discovery programs for smartphones or tablets.
The exhibition areas highlighted in green especially invite families to experiment, try out, and playfully learn more about industrial technology. During the regular repair café, families can repair items together with volunteer experts and experience sustainability firsthand.
