Description

The Isergebirgs-Museum Neugablonz takes you on a journey into a fascinating world of glass and jewelry 🎨. Here, you will experience the moving history of around 400 years of German cultural and industrial heritage in northern Bohemia, the expulsion of the Sudeten Germans after World War II, and their courageous new beginning.

Neugablonz stands for high-quality fashion jewelry and fine glass, founded in 1946 by expellees from Gablonz on the Neisse River in the Bohemian Iser Mountains. The museum shows how craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit paved the way back to the world market – with impressive artistic works created after the expulsion.
