The entire beach is basically a huge playground for children. But the people of Borkum are especially fond of kids. That's why there are extra playgrounds at the supervised swimming beaches on the largest East Frisian Island and in the island town.
The playground features 2 climbing frames, a rocking animal, a sandbox, 2 swings, and ping pong tables.
