Description

The Klostermuseum Ursberg showcases artworks and relics from the 15th to the 20th century, including Gothic sculptures, paintings by notable Swabian artists, monastic crafts, and textile treasures.

Highlights include saints dressed in brocade displayed in cases, Baroque and Biedermeier style furniture, a collection of old rosaries, and richly decorated Easter eggs available during certain seasons.

Also especially noteworthy are the memorial items dedicated to the founder Dominikus Ringeisen and the educational programs for children and youth, which require prior registration.

The museum is wheelchair accessible – except for the monastic library. Nearby, the historic early Romanesque monastery church with a crucifixion group and a significant organ from 1776 invites exploration.
