Description

Handwerkermuseum „Bei de Hölzerne“ offers you a unique glimpse into traditional craftsmanship and regional history – perfect for immersing yourselves in a cozy atmosphere together.

At the weaving museum, you can enjoy an exciting afternoon with mechanical weaving demonstrations, a hand-weaving hall, and a lovingly furnished spinning room. In the Stegmannhaus, you can explore rural and bourgeois life from the past, learning more about historical lifestyles, cooking, and work.

A special highlight is the current special exhibition about Rosmarie Schenk, a regional hat maker. Selected hats and tools from her estate are on display.

Homemade cake and fresh coffee invite you to linger in the cozy weaving parlor – a genuine experience for all the senses.

During the 18th Ziemetshauser Christkindlesmarkt, children can bake and decorate cookies under supervision and listen to Christmas stories in a traditional setting.

At the Köhlerwoche, you can follow the centuries-old art of charcoal making: from stacking, lighting to tending the charcoal kiln, no step is missed. In the evenings, regional music and dining, along with the glowing kiln, create a family-friendly atmosphere.

Additionally, original Zusamtaler beech charcoal is available for purchase – regionally and traditionally made, ideal for those who appreciate something special.
