Krückau-Wanderweg

The tour starts at Langeln station. From there, follow the path of the old Ochsenweg trade route for a few kilometers north before turning west to enjoy nature in the Heeder Tannen. Following the Krückau river, the route continues to Barmstedt. There, the charming castle island on Rantzauer Lake is a highlight of the hike. A cozy café offers steaming coffee and delicious cakes. Refreshed, the tour continues through idyllic landscapes – perfect to clear your mind and simply relax. Just before Elmshorn, the route returns to the Krückau river, which you follow all the way into the town center. Arriving at Elmshorn station, you can catch a train back to Langeln comfortably.
