For over 150 years, children of all ages have been drawing inspiration from the museum! At the MAK, the history, present and future of art craft and design come to life. New exhibitions and fascinating museum objects are there to be discovered—in a fun, entertaining, exciting, witty, informative and creative way. In workshops led by artists from the MAK educational team, the creative potential of young museum visitors is encouraged and nurtured.

The MAK School Program is oriented to children and young people aged 3 to 18. We individually incorporate the needs of the smallest, as well as the prior knowledge and areas of interest of the older participants.

MAK4Family
Workshop and guided tour for the whole family—Creative and informative for young and old (ages 4 and older).

Mini MAK Tour
Children's tour for young and old (ages 4 and older) through the colorful MAK collection and exciting temporary exhibitions.

MAK Design Kids
Workshop for 8- to 12-year-olds (unaccompanied): In two-hour workshops, the MAK Design Kids turn their attention to furniture, fashion, patterns, and more while always keeping an eye on digital developments. The children will get to know design processes, develop their own ideas, try new techniques, or learn how to work with special materials.
