Murmelbahn Neustadt

Description
Two large wooden marble runs next to the Kneipp water treading basin across from the Neustadt/Harz campground light up the eyes of both young and old. Nestled between the forest pool, the South Harz mixed forest, and below the majestic Hohnstein castle ruins, these weatherproof wooden structures invite you to experiment with speed, curves, and small collisions without losing a single marble.
A vending machine right next to the tracks supplies all marble fans with sturdy, perfectly sized wooden marbles for a small fee. Bringing your own marbles is also welcome. Thanks to the extra-wide track, gentle slope, and rounded edges, children can safely play marbles or hold spontaneous marble races while parents can enjoy Kneipp therapy in the basin, use the picnic area by the forest pool, or relax on the comfortable deck chairs.
