The museum is housed in an impressive historic half-timbered granary, whose distinctive architecture brings regional building styles to life.

A highlight is the Spalter Bierwerkstatt – here you can actively brew beer yourself under expert guidance and experience the entire brewing process up close.

In 2017, HopfenBierGut received special recognition with the Bavarian Museum Award for its engaging and interactive exhibits.

Guided tours are offered every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and by appointment for groups – the tour concludes with a beer tasting and a souvenir museum glass 🍺.
