Museumshof Rahden

Description
The Museumshof Rahden takes you back to the 19th century: A fully furnished farmhouse with original furniture from the old Amt Rahden shows what rural life was like back then.
Here, you experience traditional crafts up close, such as flax processing, which played an important role in the region’s history. In addition to the permanent exhibitions, there are lively demonstrations where you can join in.
There’s plenty for children and families: from baking in the historic stone oven to exciting hands-on activities on special event days, there’s something for every age group. In the special farmhouse garden, you can discover herbs, vegetables, and flowers – perfect for exploring nature and its seasonal plants.
