Naturmuseum

The Naturmuseum displays fossils from the Molasse – fossil-rich sediments of the Alpine foreland – and the plant and animal life of southern Germany from the Tertiary. If you like prehistoric life, you'll find many exhibits here. 🦖

The exhibitions are modern and interactive – e.g. video presentations – and show fossils with matching silhouettes, often supplemented by comparisons to living relatives. In the same building is the Sparkassen-Planetarium, a great addition for families who also want to explore the sky.
