Description

The Schwäbisches Handwerkermuseum showcases meticulously recreated workshops of trades from the past, many of which have since disappeared, such as bath attendants, saddlers, shoemakers, watchmakers, bakers, bookbinders, and passementerie artisans.

Visitors can explore original equipment, tools, and materials on display and gain a deep insight into old craft traditions.

A special section is dedicated to the guilds with their coats of arms, guild stones, and guild chests – letting you experience the vibrant regional cultural history of Swabia.

Covering an area of 250 square meters, with occasional special exhibitions in the nearby Kastenturm, the museum offers exciting insights for families wanting to discover traditional crafts and historical professions.
