This neighborhood is a successful blend of the creative vibes from the nearby Westend and charming streets lined with Gründerzeit facades and plane trees. You can experience this unique character best at Wallufer Platz, the "outdoor living room" of Rheingauviertel.

Besides benches and a playground, you'll find Wakker here, called by its operators the “largest ‘small’ bar & stage in the city.” During the day it serves as a café and in the evening as a bar. It’s a small, lively spot where you can watch the hustle and regularly enjoy concerts, readings, or other events.

From Wallufer Platz, take a stroll through the surrounding streets, mostly named after places in the Rheingau – hence the name of the neighborhood. Along the way, there are more cafés, wine and delicatessen shops, and small boutiques with unique character.
