The Schlossgartenbahn offers you a charming summer ride through a green oasis in Karlsruhe, a wonderful experience for kids and adults alike.

The train was originally built for the 1967 Federal Garden Show and still runs today with historically significant Porsche locomotives – including diesel, gasoline Porsche engines, and the impressive steam locomotive Greif.

For families with children aged 2 to 14 years, there are varied rides, perfect for little explorers.

Depending on the day of the week, you can enjoy a different driving experience: diesel trains on weekdays, the gasoline Porsche train on Saturdays, and the steam locomotive on Sundays and holidays.

Especially exciting are the monthly rides for kindergartens and schools during the season from May to September, which take place by reservation.
