Sonnenplätzl Leinsweiler

Sonnenplätzl is a multi-generation spot with a playground on the outskirts of Leinsweiler. A swing, zip line, soccer field, and sandbox invite you to let off steam. Around the area, plenty of seating with views of the vineyards and forest provide a place to rest.

Whether on a hike or a bike ride, a picnic outdoors is a special experience – especially with regional specialties from the Palatinate! To keep nature as untouched as possible, please use only designated rest areas. Forests and vineyards often don’t have trash bins, to avoid attracting wild animals and to keep the landscape clean.

So here’s the rule: whatever you bring, you should take back with you. Food scraps and packaging can be hazardous to animals and often take decades to decompose. Dispose of your trash responsibly and help protect the unique nature of the Palatinate!
