Sternwarte Gaisberg

The Sternwarte Gaisberg offers families exciting insights into the night sky 🔭. As one of the largest private observatories in Austria it particularly impresses children with its size and technology. During the special guided tours you can experience telescopes, hear talks in its own lecture hall and hear about the discovery of minor planets. In addition there is radio astronomy equipment such as a Graves-Meteor-Radar and a 4,5 m Radioteleskop that go beyond optical observation.
