Treene Bad

Bathing time in Friedrichstadt begins once the water is no longer frozen. You can also wait until the temperatures rise and the sun shines. Swimming and splashing around at our natural bathing spot is simply wonderful! The water quality here is excellent and regularly tested. While sitting on your towel, you can relax and watch sheep grazing on the opposite shore and, now and then, a small boat crossing your view.

Kids especially love it here. In the large shallow water area, they can splash and dig to their heart's content. You’ll find the bathing spot north of Friedrichstadt’s town center, along the Treene River as it widens there.
