Description

At the Vogel- und Tiermuseum in Waging, you can discover the impressive diversity of native and European wildlife. It houses almost 300 European bird species, from the imposing golden eagle to the small wren – one of Europe's tiniest songbirds.

In addition to the many birds, you can also see numerous mammals, including the red lynx, deer, wolves, bears, and even a musk ox from Grönland! The exhibitions are divided into eight thematic groups and habitats, offering comprehensive insight into the world of birds.

The collection, which also includes rare and endangered bird species, was gathered over 50 years with great passion and lovingly designed. The museum is popular with school classes, offering high educational value for children. An exciting excursion for the whole family! 🦉🐻
