The Westfälisches Feldbahnmuseum offers children aged 4 to 14 an exciting discovery journey into the world of narrow-gauge field railways, as they were used in the past in clay, peat, lime, and mining industries.
A special highlight is the ride on the field railway, which is included in the admission and makes the experience even more interactive – perfect for families wanting to enjoy an activity together. 🚂
Additionally, the traveling exhibition “Field Railway Stories” enriches the visit with fascinating insights into the technology and use of field railways, combining learning and fun.
The museum is open from Pentecost to October on every second Sunday of the month, making it ideal for a lovely family outing during this period.
