Escape the city and step into the forest: From the city center, you can reach a whole different world by car in just a few minutes. The Weißhauswald recreational area features a variety of hiking and walking trails ranging from four to nine kilometers, with different difficulty levels through the forest.

In the high ropes course, certified instructors offer half-, full-, or multi-day adventure programs for school classes, clubs, businesses, or other groups. And at the “Haus des Waldes,” you can learn fascinating facts about the history and ecology of Weißhauswald. Those wanting to deepen their knowledge can explore Weißhauswald actively on the 3.5-kilometer-long forest educational trail.

Visiting the wildlife enclosure and playground is free of charge. Special animal feed is available from a feed vending machine.
