Wild Advent

This year, the always popular animal Wild Advent takes place again.

Children can decorate small Christmas trees with treats for the animals.

As soon as it gets dark (from about 4 p.m.), visitors can join a torchlight hike and listen to an Advent story.

Winter in the Wild and Hiking Park is an impressive experience not only on this special day. The park is open to visitors during the cold season and invites you to observe the wildlife. Over 400 animals from 15 European species can be seen here in their natural habitats. On circular trails, four or six kilometers long, you can encounter them partly in the wild.

Wild Advent with torchlight hike on Sunday, November 29, 2026. The Wild and Hiking Park Südliche Weinstraße, located on the road between Annweiler and Bad Bergzabern, is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. in winter. More info at http://www.wildpark-silz.de/.
