"Saint Martin rode through snow and wind"

The Martinszug in Speyer traditionally takes place on St. Martin's Day, November 11. The lineup for the Martin parade will be again at Fischmarkt starting at 5:30 pm, and the march is planned around 6 pm.

As soon as the procession reaches Heidentürmchen, the Martin play will be performed, followed by a Martin fire lit in the Domgarten.

Participants are asked to bring a cup or mug for their drink to reduce waste. Children’s punch is, as always, free of charge.

Route of the procession: St. Georgengasse - Salzgasse - Hauptstraße - Domgarten - Heidentürmchen

The entire route is secured by the police, THW, DRK, and the volunteer youth fire brigade, who will also light the Martin fire in the Domgarten.
