Speyer from Above - View from the Altpörtel

Description
You can gladly book your ticket online in advance or purchase it on site at the tourist information center.
From 30 meters up, you can look out over Speyer, the Rhine, all the way to the German Wine Route. The Altpörtel, formerly the western main gate of the city’s medieval fortifications, is one of the highest and most beautiful city gates in Germany.
The observation gallery of the Altpörtel offers a fantastic view. On the dates listed below, you can visit the Altpörtel and experience Speyer from a completely different perspective.
Important to know: The observation gallery is only accessible by climbing over 160 steps. There is no elevator.
For organizational reasons, tours always start exactly at the scheduled time. Entry after the starting time is unfortunately NOT possible, even with a ticket! It’s best to be there 5 minutes early.
Due to fire safety regulations, a maximum of 15 people may be inside above the ticket level at the same time.
