Owl Walks with the Falconry "Birds of Prey"

Description
A unique leisure experience: Discover hawks, little owls, barn owls, sea eagles, and more.
Since 2021, the Iwersen family has fulfilled their dream of having their own falconry at their home in Speyer.
Currently, more than 30 birds of prey live in the falconry, including the hawk, Harris hawk, little owl, barn owl, and sea eagle.
Courtney and Thorsten Iwersen and their team practice active falconry hunting, bird of prey conservation, breeding, and public outreach. The "Birds of Prey" team regularly visits preschools and schools to inspire even the youngest with birds of prey. They also bring the animals to various events on the go.
Every Sunday in August from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on September 6 and 20 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. you can join a guided tour and watch a show. Information about events and special opening hours can be found on the website.
