Winter Model Building Days at the Technik Museum

Fascination, nostalgia, and pre-Christmas magic

Model building captivates both young and old alike, evoking childhood memories of winter-decorated railway layouts and detailed models for many. It’s no surprise that the Speyer Association for the Aviation History of the Palatinate (VFLP e.V.) passionately dedicates itself to this topic and has created a special event called the Winter Model Building Days at the Technik Museum Speyer.

Numerous exhibitors showcase their finest works in the spacious space travel hall – from impressive model railroads to colorful Christmas cars and winter-themed vehicles. These meticulously crafted miniature worlds conjure up a pre-Christmas atmosphere that delights both fans and newcomers.

“The Winter Model Building Days have only existed since 2021, but they have been very well received from the start. This year, we look forward to even more exhibitors and visitors,” reports organizer Hanspeter Heger from VFLP e.V. The event is a highlight for everyone who loves the charm of model building and the magic of the Christmas season – a family experience.

The Winter Model Building Days are included in the museum’s admission price.
