Bayerisches Brauereimuseum
Description
The Bayerisches Brauereimuseum impresses with an extensive exhibition spread over more than 3,000 square meters, bringing the history and craft of brewing to life. You'll discover the origins with the ancient Egyptians, Romans, and Celts, dive into medieval monastery life, and follow the fascinating evolution up to the present day.
Especially exciting is the Glass Museum Brewery, where you can watch the brewmaster at work and experience traditional brewing with all your senses: seeing, smelling, hearing, and tasting included! This makes the cultural experience vivid and engaging.
For families with children aged 4 to 17, the museum offers many age-appropriate highlights, from technical brewing revolutions to interactive tours. There are also insights into the cultural aspects of beer, such as advertising, brewery architecture, and changing drinking habits through the centuries. At the end of the tour, adults can enjoy tastings of the house-brewed, unfiltered and unpasteurized natural museum beers brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law.
