Description

The Bergisches Grauwacke-Museum invites you on an exciting journey back 390 million years into Earth’s history.

Here you can touch real fossils and listen to many fascinating stories: twelve fictional characters share their varied daily life in the quarry and the community of Lindlar.

The exhibition is divided into three theme areas – Stone Old, Stone Hard, and Stone Rich – which the characters connect in an engaging way.

A special highlight is the presentation about the world’s oldest forest.

You also have access to a free museum guide providing detailed background information and summaries of the audio texts.
